Numbers vs. Words | The number of people whom surrender to the Corona virus is growing leaving many people and countries in devastation. It is mostly people of age that their immune system is weak to begin with, making senior communities a lethal place mixed with the virus.

I am not taking it lightly as I have my parents that are no longer the young folks I know, though luckily for them they are at home so they are manage to keep safe by isolating themselves until things come back to their senses.

There are so many articles about it - this should not be yet another one, though certainly based on true events.

What is more overwhelming with this pandemic phenomenon than the actual cases is the number of articles and the 'let me guess what is next' combined by more restrictive commands.

If you stop for a minute from the endless spin of ideas we are bombarded with and look at the actual numbers you could realize that there are larger scares out there that are just considered old news.

We have completely forgot about the casualties on the road, the annual flue, cholesterol/heart attacks, air pollution/asthma. If we collect all these numbers just once a month realizing the reality, numbers will sky rocket and sure outnumber by far what we see now.

By no means I do not say game over, worry not - there are more uncertainties about this new-comer than the 'good ole' buds, though if we need to place emotions against proportions it will put us all in perspective.

I truly hope that there will be a massive global lesson learned from the world's shutdown of 2020 and understand what have lead to all the decisions that were taken, so there is a ready to eat cook book next time there will be a similar outbreak.

More important is us, the information consumers - what have happened to us? Have we lost all measures of judgement? How do we react - or let other people's reaction do to us - to our relationships. What would be the best thing for us to do and learn from the aftermath?

This has drawn a line on the sand marking a milestone in our understanding and perception.

We must sober up from the overdose of information and rebuild our capability to judge reality. I also hope that people would volunteer more and get out of the shell and find at least one thing that they will do for the sake of others. As much as this time we are encouraged to keep home - there are endless ways to keep in touch with people that are in need for a quick talk, for some attention so they could get acknowledgement that they exist.

So they could understand that they are of importance to someone that wants to spare the time for them. This is the strongest power that we generate from within that gets us going, the power of belongness, that something that awaits just for us and make us unique. If we manage to find that spark and keep it on within others that is the great light that will make us a healthier world turning it from a grave world to a crave world.
