The Concept of KISS | This KISS is coming from basic communications skills - as a general approach to keep matters simple so they are better perceived on the other side, initials that stand for Keep It Stupid Simple. This is true to most aspects of life though, with our new capabilities to post our experiences instantly and share it with the entire world, tweeting our brains out, leaves anyone else with a growing sense of emptiness. There are endless amount of articles TED Talks and books about FOMO (fear of missing out) and the fact that everyone else is having it - therefore not having that 'it' means incompleteness.

Not intending to dwell on the topic and be just endless and one - but shed my own light on it. Realizing that modern frantic has just brought us to the world's lock down of 2020 derived from the fact we have crossed the forbidden boundaries between what we should keep exploring for the sake of knowledge and development, to the point that we feel that we have the right to explore everything as if we are immortals and that there is nothing we cannot do because we own the knowledge.

If this sounds familiar - hey it's because this is the story of the exile from the Garden of Eden. We crossed then the fine line between what is right and what is wrong.

So we either did not read good enough this basic chapter on Genesis or we are becoming stupid enough to believe that since we have everything convenient and affordable we own the right to push and try to get some more. We forgot to realize that sometimes it is better to cherish the simple, as stupid as it is, the fact that we can does not mean that we always should. Keep the excitements spread out so you learn to appreciate simplicity and humbleness. If we take everything for granted we end up losing it all and this is literally losing it.

The Block down of 2020 is driving economy down, years of investments are nosediving aimlessly, with nothing that seems to stop it anytime soon, people are losing any sense of hope that things could improve, we lose wisdom with the elderly giving in for the vicious virus and it seems that there is no single responsible adult that could stop the madness and puts things in perspective for the rest of us.

History will teach us nothing ( STING https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNt5iK8EuAU) if we fail to make realization of it and learn our lessons from our wrong doing.

Like any of today's trends all is counting on our short memory and with the overwhelming amount of information we are flooded with, our memory span gets even shorter therefore we learn nothin', so thank you Sting.

How can we turn devastation to a new perception? Can we restart our mindset learning to cherish the small things first and moving on to the big and huge? It is possible only if we keep that constant judgement of - is it really necessary? always on - let it be our new compass and replace the FOMO with BOMO - for Better Off Missing Out. Drain our social interaction from the number of followers to the quality people we wish to hang out with. Keep the ones whom fill us not the ones whom drain us. Keep the ones we can help growing, not the ones that would take immediate advantage of our offer to help.

We should not give up on technology that makes our life better - we should give up on the one that grow our frustration, we should keep researching to Mars and beyond while we study better how to preserve our continuously demolished planet. We should listen to it understand the signs we are given - we should learn from our wrong doing for the better - this would be the right turn to take, well, this is the only way out - so we should make a copy of that key and keep it with everyone's pocket - a simple key.
