Sunset of a bitter cold day | As a rule of thumb sunny days leave no room for complaints. With so many gray days, sunny days are days to cherish, on the verge of believing that nothing wrong could happen when the sun is out. It may not be transferable to other areas in the world (unfortunately). Sometimes though the bitterness of the cold could reach deeper than the the best insulated cover, nevertheless if you forgot to take care of it when you have left home early, hoping that it would warm up towards midday. Sure enough you hear on the weather forecast that 6 AM had the highest temperatures for the day.

Heading down to Boston's business district , where wind gusts are taking over the streets and slapping hard on every one whom dares to wander out in the streets. Downtown crossing is a main junction for all subway lines and being the host for the homeless and the hopeless. The wind gusts do not defer the homeless and the successful hedge fund manager, everyone shivers from that immediate chill, with the difference that one would stay out in the cold and the other would enter his/her luxurious office warmed up by a good drink, quality coffee and the warmth of the looks of the envy eyes of the less successful folks on the floor.

The extremes of the working people, the work seeking folks the home owners and the homeless are all crossing downtown. The heavy traffic is in the morning and in the afternoon where the commuters and the stay around to wander share the streets, the wind gusts, the bitterness of the cold until the last ray of light going west for another scene ending a bitter cold day elsewhere.
