The Unisex Virus | When you catch a disease you are miserable enough to fight the fever, the skin rush whatever punishment that comes with it. The last thing that you need on earth is to fight the set of rumors that could be associated with it, like what the AIDS has created.
With the spread of the Corona Virus you could practice any type of sex without looking back that 'hey I might catch something (sexually transmitted . . .). Regardless of your gender and gender preference, the only limitation with this one is if you are older than 80, where practicing sex is more of an option than an immediate necessity. Thank god we have got a unisex virus to deal with.
It is true that it canceled a lot of parties and conventions, if anything else it did bring back family values, whatever these are for you, as people and organizations rescheduled every mass gathering.
Writing this from the comfort of my home allows me to be more sarcastic about it, though I do have parents and elderly relatives that I worry about.
It is not the notion of being all mighty, at the end of the day I am disposable like every other human being, just use less of the scare factor and keeping in mind that living is what we are here for and part of keeping a healthy immune system is making sure we live, compared to die gracefully from younger age with the fear that we may die some day from one of the many somethings you can die from.
Being a living dead is not a route I am taking. Being alive bears a risk in it at any given moment - being fearful from all the potential risks that will end our journey makes is a life not worth living. There is so much excitement out there so many experiences worth trying, and this is within a normal spectrum I say, and these are the things that generate more life fluids in our body that keeps away all the rest.
Being mindful is fair but being fearful is a waste.
Happy living
