The Life On Demand | The past year was the year of the on-demands - from grocery, food delivery, everything delivery, entertainment on demand. The only thing that made you leave the comfort of your seat are basic needs such as food and bio breaks.
You could stretch if you wanted but it was not necessary.
This is the second year for our downsizing where our only On-demand is for minimalism, trying to remove stuff from our life and make ourselves lighter wishing to own the least amount of things.
On a winter run a few days ago - on what I call the 'thank you' run, where I thank all the drivers that move to center lane providing me with the notion that I was noticed and I am safe to keep running, sharing the road, where the pavements are loaded with snow and ice force you to run on the main road.
Between the fancy Italian car that raced for a few seconds - reclaiming the spirit of the Alps and the agonizing truck that tried to pick one of its twenty two gears to make it to the top of the hill I was sweating in the freezing cold not 100% sure if it was the right thing to do leaving the comfort of my home, but warmed up by the fact that I was kept safe by so many total strangers.
I was thankful and appreciative for the small courtesy given by others, which leads me to the point that my single on-demand wish is to have a larger span of this courteous trait seeing the others and giving way. I want to live in this wealthy neighborhood of the giving.
