Life, Split | We all have our long term plans creating a time line of our past experiences and dreaming on what is next, envisioning golden moments that are just ahead of us doing our utmost to make it to all these moments of excitement, healthy, happy and ready to contain all the emotions making them the soil to plant the more moments we want to have. It only took a split second to realize that all these could have ended abruptly if I would not let that car move just a head of me in a moment of kindness. Yeah, it was Saturday morning , no need to rush, I could let others go by, there is nothing wrong about being kind, but I did not realize how fast I would be rewarded for that.

The car that slid by to move ahead of me turned right, slowing me down, what stroke me is the car that came from that same street going straight through a red light and if it was not for the car ahead of me, I was the one that would have stopped that car in the middle of the intersection. The speed that the car crossed the street would not leave much of the future planning for me. It was sheer luck for that driver too that the traffic from the other side was starting slow, and allowed that smooth passage.

It takes a good amount of time to digest the chain of events and run the realization of what have just happened, not sparing graphical details from the worst scenario that could have happen.

You are grateful for the universe and its creator that protected you once again and reshuffle the priorities of what is most important and what have we failed to be thankful for, taking it for granted. You realize how fragile we are (yes, you were right Sting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB6a-iD6ZOY) and how important it is to be laser sharp about what we want to achieve in life without missing a moment to enjoy getting there. We are not given back time we waste on lost cause, hate, rage and frustration. We are not given time back, period. So all we are left with is our choice of what would we like our last moment in life to look or feel like, as we can never know when that is going to happen and did I mention - we cannot go back.

This is not a call to live life as if you are going to die any moment but a call to cherish any moment we are given and give it the gift of positive. Be grateful as if it is your last chance to be such and it will generate the more moments to be grateful for. Become the jet engine of the positive you . . . and do not forget to bow
