The Two Sides of Oversimplifying | Life in the 21st century forces us to either take things to their full extent or dilute them to the bare simplicity - just so one could see them better, nevertheless understand them. Sometimes it is required to alternate between the two which feels like accelerating to full speed and than slam on the brakes. No wonder the population of people with anxiety is the largest and fastest growing one.
Let's stay this time on the oversimplifying side and see how - when taking the easy way - things get resolved, anger is taken by others. Life is passing in front of their face like a bullet train, though they just stay exited from its speed as the wind almost throws them away and then gone, then there is silence and they move back to a slow pace not being bothered by anything unless forced to.
The oversimplifying specie can do everything that the full extenders do and even more, but they have to find interest in it, if they are not curious about it, it almost does not exist. They could be perceived as lazy or even dumb by resisting doing things, and then they show up super brilliant and vibrant on random (defined by full extenders ...) things.
If you are traveling with small children and an oversimplifyer make sure to count another kid in your party regardless of their age.
Prepare to be surprised otherwise you may find yourself doomed to be disappointed.
The best way to describe one is - by looking at their almost empty back pack for a week long trip, obviously showing up late. It will be a collection of miscellaneous items regardless of what is needed and a great belief that the universe will provide the rest. Sure enough - the universe provides it - most times by leftovers of the full extenders. The oversimplifyers are the wondering wanderers, the hanging in there that strive against all odds.
The oversimplifyers have a built in optimism that things will get resolved through time, eventually, somehow. They have high tolerance to uncertainty as they take only portions of it - so they can worry less. Seems like there should be a conversion workshop to move people from full extenders to oversimplifyers - just to balance the amount of emotions out there.
The full extenders are so emotional that with the right scientific research it will be found that their heat generating emotions are the main reason for the hole in the ozone layer and the number one contributing factor for global warming. At least the industries are balancing out by planting trees, using recycled or sustainable materials, renewal energy - but nothing compensated for the overwhelming emotions generated by the full extenders of the western world. Go figure . . . though you need to realize whom is figuring it out a full extender or an oversimplifyer as results may vary.
Cheers to the oversimplifyers.
